1. Midterm Assignment
For the midterm assignment, you are required to submit a forum post of a maximum of 500 words with a critical analysis on the topic of:

2.a. The Presentation
The presentation must address the following questions:
Proposed IoT solution walkthrough (around 40% of the presentation)
Starting from a general overview diagram, go into the details and describe what the solution does. Consider the entire information chain: sensors, data, communication, processing, decisions / actions.
Impact on the business (around 35% of the presentation)
Discuss the impact of the IoT solution on the business, or the individual, or the society (consider possible new business models as well). The written report includes a section for the review of existing and similar solutions from the literature. Use those findings to support your presentation here as well.
Implementation details (around 25% of the presentation)
After exploring the literature (both academic and practitioner sources), present some details on how the proposed solution will be implemented. Look at existing components (hardware and software), and the need for new ones. Consider how the components interact with each-other (hardware compatibility, communication protocols, etc.)
2.b. Written Report
The written report, maximum 1500 words, completes the video presentation with the following aspects below. Given the limited space available, the use of tables and diagrams is highly recommended.
Literature review on existing and related solutions (around 65% of the report)
While the oral presentation focuses on your case study, the report should present the findings of your literature research regarding similar or related solutions that have already been implemented. Use the critical analysis to explore the similarities and differences.
Ethical issues (and privacy) (around 35% of the report)
Brief overview of the main ethical issues concerning the proposed solution and how you propose to address these. The analysis may be expanded to include remarks about the connection between security and ethics.
Quality of expression in English (5% of the module grade)
The overall quality of the presentation in English is evaluated (grammar, vocabulary). The video presentation will be examined first and considered for this part of the grade.
Formatting Requirements
The video presentation should have a clear title slide, similar to the cover page for the written report. References should be included on the last image of the recording and should not be read during the recording
